Gianfranco Zola pinpointed Heurelho Gomes' save from David Di Michele when the score was still 0-0 as the key moment as we won Saturday's derby against West Ham.

Di Michele took advantage as Jonathan Woodgate misjudged Robert Green's long clearance only for Gomes to block the chance with his feet.

That was after 58 minutes and just seven minutes later Roman Pavlyuchenko struck the only goal of the game.

Zola said: "Tottenham are one of the six best teams in the country and we played without fear and stood up to them, it could easily have been a point.

"When Di Michele went through I thought this was the moment. We had a great chance and I believe if he had scored we would have won the game, but we didn't and they scored soon after.

"I knew the first 15, 20 minutes of the second half would be crucial. We had the chance, didn't score and then Pavlyuchenko scored.

"The only words I can say are words of praise. My players gave everything."
