Gary Megson felt his side should have won Saturday's encounter at the Reebok Stadium.
Ricardo Gardner opened the scoring inside three minutes as Bolton started brightly in the Premier League clash.
Niko Kranjcar levelled in the 38th minute and we stepped up a gear after the break only for Kevin Davies to head the home side back into the lead in the 69th minute.
Vedran Corluka soon headed home for 2-2 and that's how it stayed.
Bolton boss Megson said: "I've never been as pleased with a team that I've managed yet the way we went about our work from minute one to 94 we should have won the game.
"In terms of the chances we had and the way we played I think we should have won regardless of who the opposition were.
"There was some really good stuff. We don't just hoof it. Our average height is smaller than Tottenham's. We are trying to win games playing decent football."
