Chris Gunter intends to grasp his chance to shine in tonight's UEFA Cup last 32 tie against Shakhtar Donetsk at the Lane.
The full-back will take his place in a team determined to overturn a 2-0 deficit from last week's first leg in Ukraine.
The Carling Cup Final is looming and all eyes are on Harry Redknapp's selection.
"Whatever team gets selected tomorrow it's a great chance for us," said Chris. "It's a big game, the fans will get behind us and hopefully we'll make it a European night to remember at White Hart Lane.
"Any game you play is important and this is a big one, the UEFA Cup, a chance to progress and with a final on Sunday you need to take any chance to impress.
"For the 11 players who start against Shakhtar Donetsk, only one game will matter and that's the game we face. We can't look towards Sunday, we've a job to do because we want to progress."
Chris is well aware of the quality of the Ukraine side having played against them last week and looked at their record in the Champions League - they remain the only side to beat Barcelona in the Nou Camp all season.
"It will be tough, we've seen how good they were in the first leg last week," he said.
"We experienced something similar in the Carling Cup at Burnley - if you get a goal you can build momentum and you saw what happened.
"We need to get at them from the first whistle and take it from there. If we are positive and believe we can win we've got every chance."
