I would like to thank my friend Chris for showing me the light of Spurs. I used to follow another team who shall remain anonomous (don't worry, not Arsenal).
One day Chris, a Spurs season ticket holder, invited me up to a game because he had a spare ticket. As soon as I was within 1 mile of the Lane I knew this club wasn't just a name.
'Tottenham Hotspur', it was something far more special than that, there was a magic about the place.
This sense of magic only increased when I got in the stadium. It was amazing, the supporters were amazing. I was a little surprised at first at how passionate the fans were but once the game had started I was with them, ranting and raving.
The game wasn't brilliant but I was hooked, I was very impressed with Les Ferdinands physical prowess. Now I like nothing more than to watch Spurs at the lane, I try to go to every home game and some away games.
Now we're playing some decent football I'm sure Glenn can bring back the good old days which I've heard so much about.
U could say it was the magic of the lane that made me Tottenham, and I'm proud to be Tottenham.
