Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).

We take a look at a key event from the club's history on this day...

January 5 - 1946: We face Brentford in the first leg of our only two-legged FA Cup tie, drawing the match 2-2. We lost the return 0-2 five days later. All ties from rounds one to six were played over two matches.
