Campbell was among seven successful athletes taking part in workshops and giving inspirational talks to 14-18 year olds from across the country specially chosen to help promote Olympic and Paralympic ideals among their communities ahead of the 2012 London Games.
By the time 2012 comes around, more than 5,000 young people from across the UK will have been through the Young Ambassador programme.
Campbell spoke to the youngsters on the importance of self-belief and hard work, as well as giving an insight into how he prepared for races during his illustrious career.
And although the 34-year-old is a self-confessed Manchester United fan, he was nonetheless impressed by our world-famous White Hart Lane stadium.
He said: “This is my first time inside the stadium and it is a fantastic place. It was an enjoyable day for everyone involved and I hope the young people got a lot out of it.”
