The pair were named in Stuart Pearce's 18-man squad on Monday.
They will now join-up with the squad to prepare for a friendly against Brazil at Middlesbrough's Riverside Stadium on Friday, July 20 and then the Olympic tournament, which actually kicks-off ahead of the Games' Opening Ceremony on Friday, July 27.
Great Britain open their Olympic campaign against Senegal at Old Trafford on Thursday, July 26 followed by UAE at Wembley on Sunday, July 29 and finally Uruguay at Cardiff's Millennium Stadium on Wednesday, August 1.
If successful, the quarter-finals follow on Saturday, August 4.
"It’s been a long time since GB have had a team in the Olympics so to be involved, to be able to call yourself an Olympian, especially with the Games in this country and everyone behind you, is something special," said Danny, who found out about his selection on his 22nd birthday.
"When I was told I was in the initial squad of 35 I just hoped I would get the call," added Steven.
"The call came and now it’s a case of getting ready for the Olympics.
"I’m delighted to be part of it and the fact it’s here in Britain means it will be a huge event and something I’ll no doubt look back on for many, many years."
