I would just like to say how saddened I was at the passing of Bill Nicholson.
As a young guy of 12 I remember my dad, who sadly passed away last year, telling me of the days when he lived in London and went to see the great Spurs double team at White Hart Lane.
At that time he used to carry my older brother who was born in London on his shoulder down the high road. 'No such thing as hooligans then' he woud say.
Because of my dad's stories about Greavsie, Mackay and Blanchflower amongst other greats both myself and my younger brother are now devotees.
Come on you lillywhites.
