Wednesday night was my first away game and being a member of the visiting crowd certainly made me proud to be a Spurs fan.
A miscalculation of the long journey up the motorway from London to Bolton meant that we had to ignore the directions of the policemen and park in the adjacent Tesco car park, before setting off on a run to make sure we arrived in time for kick-off.
I was sitting in the third row from the front of the lower tier, which gave me a closer view of the action than my seat in the South Upper at the Lane usually gives.
Us Spurs fans turned out in great number, and embarassed the home crowd by completely outsinging them. The game itself was a bit disjointed in the first hour, but we sprung into life after going 2-1 down and definitely deserved to win. The most exciting game I've seen since the unfortunate cup tie with Man City last season, but this time we won 4-3 thankfully!
My man-of-the-match was Reto Ziegler, who I think is a superb prospect on the left wing. I can't wait to make it to more away ties in the future.
