Our Spurs XI side recovered from a 2-0 deficit to draw 2-2 at Leyton Orient on Wednesday night.
Things looked bleak for Tim Sherwood's young squad after the O's raced into a 2-0 lead and hit the woodwork twice in the first half-hour of this pre-season friendly.
But they recovered in style to dominate the second half against their League One opponents and come away with honours even thanks to goals from Ryan Mason and Jonathan Obika, his third goal in five pre-season matches.
It might have been a young squad but eight of the starting XI had league experience and included the likes of Obika, Adel Taarabt, Ryan Mason and Danny Rose.
Orient took the lead in the 16th minute after Adam Smith deflected Scott McGleish's effort onto the crossbar with his hand. The referee had no hesitation in pointing to the spot and Ben Chorley slotted home from 12 yards.
McGleish soon doubled the lead when he latched onto Matthew Spring's pass and casually lifted the ball over the advancing David Button.
Alex Revell hit the inside of the post and headed over before setting up McGleish, who missed the target from close range. Terrell Forbes then climbed high at the far post to meet Dean Cox's cross only to see his header rattle the upright.
That let-off appeared to sting the lads into action.
They got on top in the final 10 minutes of the half - Andros Townsend curling inches wide - before taking control in the second half.
Tim made four changes at the break with Oscar Jansson, Olumide Durojaiye, Dean Parrett and Paul Jose M'poku on for Button, Rose, Taarabt and Townsend. Parrett's drive from cental midfield particularly caught the eye.
M'poku was denied what looked a certain goal by the outstretched boot of goalkeeper Jamie Jones before the O's struck the woodwork again, this time Revell hit the post from close range.
Mason kick-started the comeback with a goal in the 55th minute, a smart finish from close range after Obika's strong run and cutback from the right byline.
Obika went close, ex-Spur Lee Butcher denied substitute Harry Kane and Kane curled inches wide, both from Parrett passes.
Obika just missed the target in the 73rd minute but didn't have to wait long for a deserved goal to equalise, providing the slightest of glancing headers to deflect Nathan Byrne's fine cross into the bottom corner.
