November international fixtures for our players

It’s make-or-break time for Christian Eriksen and Serge Aurier as they bid to reach next summer’s FIFA World Cup finals.

In this last international break of the calendar year, Christian’s Denmark and Serge’s Ivory Coast face crunch fixtures in their respective bids to reach Russia.

The Danes have a two-legged play-off with the Republic of Ireland, the winners of which will progress, while victory for Ivory Coast at home to Morocco in their final Group C qualifier in the African section of the competition will see them leapfrog their visitors into top spot and, consequently, secure qualification for the finals.

Many of our other players have international friendlies to look forward to – and some could be facing each other! Heung-Min Son’s South Korea host Davinson Sanchez’s Colombia, while Ben Davies and Wales visit France, who include Moussa Sissoko among their number.

We now have three players in the England squad following the withdrawals of Dele Alli, Harry Kane and Harry Winks because of injury, while on-loan Josh Onomah has been forced to pull out of the England Under-21 squad for their European Under-21 Championship qualifier in Ukraine, also because of injury.

Here’s a full run-down of who is playing where and when over the next couple of weeks (all kick-off times are UK)…
