Tom Huddlestone believes Real Madrid will not know what has hit them if we come out of the traps fast at a packed out White Hart Lane tonight.
The midfielder knows the atmosphere will be incredible and a fast start from Harry Redknapp’s men could just be the key ingredients for the biggest comeback in Champions League history.
Either way, Tom insists that the lads will not go down without a fight as we look to claw our way back from 4-0 down in our quarter-final tie with the Spanish giants.
He said: “This is still a massive game and if we can get a goal or two early doors, they wouldn’t have been under pressure like that, and everyone knows what the atmosphere is like on European nights, so hopefully we can pull a miracle out of the bag.
“We’ve got nothing to lose. We may as well go out fighting and risk losing the game rather than sitting back and getting a draw or something.
“You know the way we play, especially at home. We will go for it and if we get a bit of luck then, who knows?”
Tom made his comeback from injury in Saturday’s Premier League win over Stoke and is delighted to be back in the fold for games like tonight.
He added: “It’s the business end of the season. I was unlucky it couldn’t have been maybe two or three weeks sooner, but the physios didn’t want to rush it.
“I played 90 minutes on Saturday and felt good, which is important for my health, but we’ve got big games coming up and it’s good to be a part of it.”
