After topping the table with a string of fine performances and results, Jimmy Neighbour's youngsters now have to pick themselves up after a second-successive defeat.

"We didn't pass the ball as well as we have done, didn't really get at them and didn't create the chances," said Jim.

Danny Foster headed our best chance over the bar from Lee Barnett's corner in the second half as we fell to the only goal.

"The second half was a big improvement," added Jim. "We defended well and coped with the physical side of it.

"We've just got to try and get ourselves back up again and keep working."

Spurs U17s: Eyre, Perry (Watson, 86), McKie, Barnett, Foster, Tyrie, Noto, Wetner, Malcolm, Yeates (Price, 79), Black. Unused subs: Dobson, Hicks.
