The Welsh midfield livewire, currently performing a right wing-back role, admitted at Spurs Lodge on Tuesday containing the natural disappointment has been difficult.
"Of course it has," said Simon. "We're having a bad time at the minute and we've got to try and pull together and try and get through it. But it's not been easy."
Simon says it has also been hard on a personal level, he has looked visibly distraught after the last four confidence-sapping games.
"It's very disappointing. No-one likes losing and we've lost four on the trot now. I've never had anything like this before, I don't think many of the players have.
"The best thing we can do is stick together and try and be positive, but it's difficult."
Simon agrees that luck has played a part in games, with chances being created but not converted.
"Especially on Monday. We had the better chances through the game I think. They scored a goal that was really a mistake by us - it's just the way it's gone at the minute, what can you do?"
Simon Davies says retaining a postive frame of mind after recent results is not easy, but has to be done.
