It's D-Day for our reserves' title hopes.
We travel to Brentford tonight (Monday, April 27, 7pm) to face Chelsea while at the same time, leaders Aston Villa take on West Brom at home.
We know we have to win to stay in the hunt in the Barclays Premier Reserve League South.
But we also know if leaders Aston Villa beat West Brom, it's all over.
If Villa don't beat the Baggies, however, then we're in with a shout but we have to beat Chelsea and then Pompey to reach 34 points.
The fact they have kept the title race alive for so long is testament to Clive Allen's squad who have put together run of six-successive wins.
"It's not finished yet, we're still in there alive and kicking with two matches to go and that's a fantastic effort," said Development Coach Clive.
"We have to keep the pressure on Villa. They have to win against West Brom and anything can happen in one game.
"We're on a good run, there is a lot of confidence in the group and although the make-up of the squad can change, everyone is clear of the approach and intention of every game we play. I'm delighted with the run we've had."
Squad: Alnwick, Jansson, Smith, Cox, Rocha, Gilberto, Caulker, Butcher, Livermore, Kasim, Mtandari, Maghoma, Byrne, Dawkins, Bostock, Fraser-Allen.
