French defender Noe Pamarot is currently undergoing a medical after agreeing terms with the club.
Pamarot, a tough tackling right-back, joins us from Nice and is set to go straight into our squad for the trip to West Bromwich once he gets the all clear.
We also await the results of Michael Carrick’s medical with the England international ready to enhance the quality of our young and improving squad even further.
Pamarot is 25 and, although he has been included in the French national squad, he has yet to win a full cap. He spent eight months with Portsmouth as a teenager.
Sporting Director Frank Arnesen is certainly a fan.
"He’s very quick and strong, a powerful defender who is also extremely comfortable on the ball," said Frank. "Noe’s made his mark at the highest level in French football over the past five years and he’s going to be a major asset as a Spurs player."
