No surprise

Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).

Paul Robinson insists there can be no surprise as Everton sit proudly in the top four of the Barclays Premiership.

Most pundits predicted a tough season for the Goodison outfit after they finished one place above the relegation zone last term and lost prize asset Wayne Rooney in the summer.

But exactly the opposite has happened with Everton defeated only four times so far - including our win at Goodison - and currently five points clear of Middlesbrough in the fourth Champions League qualifying spot.

Incredibly they overtook last season's points tally of 39 in half the games with the win against Manchester City on Boxing Day.

"What they've done this season can't be a surprise anymore because they've been there throughout," said goalkeeper Robbo, who comes up against his former Leeds team-mate and great friend Nigel Martyn.

"They have a good, honest group of players and are doing very, very well.

"They will come here in a similar style to Palace, a 4-5-1 system and it will be tough for us again. Physically they are right up there and getting results left, right and centre."

Midfielder Michael Brown agreed. "They are winning games and that's all there is to it.

"Perhaps it might have been a surprise after 10 games but it's no surprise any more, we're up to 20 games now and they deserve to be there. We all know how good they are."
