Following the departure of Sol Campbell, the armband is up for grabs - and there are quite a few contenders for the honour. Tim Sherwood usually took on the duty in Sol's absence, but Glenn has yet to decide on a long-term successor.
In the 'Sound Off' section of the site, we put the question to supporters, which threw up quite a few suggestions. From the returning Teddy through to new-boy Gus - most of the team got a mention. However, on balance, the majority of fans opted for Stephen Carr as their preferred choice.
Glenn will not commit to making his choice just yet.
When asked if Les leading the team our was a clue, Glenn responded: "No, no, this is pre-season. I'll tell the players first when it's decided."
Pressed on whether a decision has already been made, the boss added: "No, not at the moment, we've got a pre-season to get through and we don't need to make that decision until we've had that pre-season."
Glenn insists, that despite Les Ferdinand leading the team out at Wycombe on Saturday, he has not made up his mind as to who should captain the team for the new season.
