The midfielder went down clutching his leg after taking a tackle as he attempted to shoot in the first half of Wales' 4-0 win against Scotland.
Simon was taken to hospital in Cardiff but was back for treatment at Spurs Lodge this morning.
"Nothing is broken and there is no serious damage," revealed coach Chris, just back from Ireland's friendly draw against Brazil in his role as Irish assistant manager.
"People at the game said it looked quite bad when it happened but it is better than what we first thought.
"We'll see how he progresses for the rest of the week but he might be okay for Leicester on Sunday."
