No plans to host Israel

Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).

The club has played down growing media speculation that Israel could stage their 'home' Euro 2004 qualifying matches at White Hart Lane.

Israel's football adminstrators are looking for alternative venues because of the worsening security situation in the Middle East - Manchester United will travel to Cyprus when they take on Maccabi Haifa in the Champions League.

But our director of football David Pleat said this morning: "As of today, there are no international games of any kind planned at White Hart Lane."
