Middlesbrough, West Ham and Bolton loom in a six-day period from Sunday and Chris explains that the White Hart Lane-factor will certainly assist in preparations and, hopefully, in getting the right results.
"It's a very difficult week coming up but, the thing that is in our favour, is that it is three home games," he considered.
"Apart from the fact that they are at home in front of our own crowd, it also means the travelling aspect - that can take a bit out of your preparations - is removed.
"They are three big games and we will certainly treat the cup game as being as important as the two league ones."
Chris says that he is aware, after recent results, that expectations will be heightened with the boys performing on home turf.
He insists it is still a case of dealing with each game as it comes along - with half an eye on the next one.
"Yes it does raise expectations. I've got no doubts that because of the way things are going our supporters will possibly expect us to win all three games. That would be a difficult thing in itself.
"The way you have to approach it is to deal with one game at a time - with a little eye on the middle game. We have to be mindful of the squad that we've got and, where we are fortunate at the moment, is that we have players available and the squad is in decent shape.
"Like I said, we will look at the first game with a little eye on the next one."
Chris Hughton looked ahead to the forthcoming busy week and declared himself grateful for home comforts.
