Our Superleague Formula Racing Team remain in the top 10 of the all-new motorsport championship despite luck going against them in round four at Portugal's Estoril Circuit.
Regular driver Duncan Tappy was unavailable as he fulfilled racing commitments with RC Motorsport in the final race of the season in the WSR (World Series by Renault) in Barcelona so Dominik Jackson took his chance behind the wheel.
The team qualified at the back of the grid for race one and battled up four places for a 15th place finish.
The championship's reverse grid have the team hope for race two as Dominik started on the third line of grid and thanks to a fine start, found himself in front in the opening stages.
However, an incident saw him lose a few places before taking the compulsory pit stop. After this, the presence of lapped cars prevented him moving up the field and he finished 11th.
Beijing now leads the championship on 271 points ahead of PSV Eindhoven (236), Liverpool FC (235), AC Milan (216), Sevilla FC (199), AS Roma (190), RSC Anderlecht (189), Galatasaray (180), Tottenham Hotspur (173), SC Corinthians (169), Al-Ain (167), FC Basel (161), FC Porto (145), Borussia Dortmund (143), Rangers (132), Flamengo (130), Olympiacos (110), Atletico (99).
The Superleague Formula round was attended by the football-themed championship's biggest crowd to date with 25,000 fans viewing the action at the former home of the Portuguese Grand Prix.
Duncan returns to the team for round five of six of the championship Vallelunga near Rome on November 1-2.
