Clive Allen insists there will be no let up when his reserves complete their title-winning league campaign at Coventry tonight.

The lads travel to Rugby Town FC for their final league game against the Sky Blues, kick-off 7pm.

Development coach Clive has made it very clear that places are up for grabs for the finale to what has been memorable season - the Barclays Premiership Reserve League play-off against the Northern section winners, most likely to be Manchester United.

United are now three points clear of Villa with a game left having beaten them on Saturday - Villa beat Liverpool 3-0 on Monday night - and need a point at Liverpool to clinch the section. It could change though if Villa beat Leeds convincingly and United fail at Liverpool.

Clive, however, is concentrating on going out on a winning note after clinching the Southern title almost a month ago. "We had a tough game against Coventry a couple of weeks ago and I'm sure that will be the case again," he said.

"We are preparing for the play-off game, it's looking like it will be Manchester United and the lads have something big to aim for.

"If that's the case and United win the Northern section the play-off will be at Old Trafford and that represents a fantastic opportunity for us at the end of the season.

"There are places still up for grabs for that play-off but the lads have been focused all season and I'm sure they will stay that way right through to the end."
