Martin Jol took plenty of positives from the friendly against FC Copenhagen - but stressed the key factor was not picking up injuries.
Goals from Dean Richards and Jermain Defoe secured a 2-2 draw against the Danish champions in the second and senior friendly of our Swedish training camp on Thursday night.
"The only thing were really looking for was not to get injuries because the group trained very hard beforehand, even in the morning the lads did some sprints," said our first assistant coach.
"On the other hand, we always want to win but in the end we were pretty satisfied with the result.
"We said a couple of things before the game, not to run all over the place without the ball, because it makes it difficult for everyone and talked about the shape of the team.
"We played a nice 4-4-2. We had to stay behind the ball when they got it.
"There are a couple of things we have to work on - in defence, the build-up of play, the midfield play and the communication of the strikers.
"But I thought it went well after their early goal. They had a couple of chances but so did we. You shouldn't forget that this was the first game for the senior lads."
