No gold for Jacko

Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).

Johnnie Jackson's hopes of gold in the Toulon Tournament were dashed by England's goalless draw against Brazil on Tuesday.

Young midfielder Jacko, just 19, started his third game of four in the qualifying stages but in a cagey affair, a point wasn't enough to finish to of Group A.

That honour instead went to opponents Brazil by virtue of better goal difference.

England, unbeaten in the group, will now play either Germany, Italy or Japan - pending on the results of the final games in Group B on Wednesday - in the third/fourth place play-off before Friday's final.

Boss Martin Hunter insisted: "We want to finish third and if we do that it'll be a great achievement for us.

"It's been fantastic so far and we've got one game to go now which we'll use as our own final."
