Michael Dawson insists we travel to Old Trafford with no fear on Saturday.
It's another key weekend in the race for fourth place - and the title - in the Barclays Premier League.
We're two points ahead of City in fourth place while United are a point adrift of Chelsea at the top of the table. We kick-off at 12.45pm and later, City travel to Arsenal for the 5.30pm game with the Gunners still in the title race, albeit now outsiders. Chelsea face Stoke on Sunday.
Villa, who have moved to within three points of fourth having played a game more with wins at Portsmouth and Hull, line-up for the all-Birmingham derby against Birmingham City on Sunday.
We travel to United having beaten title rivals Arsenal and Chelsea in the space of four days last week. "We go there with no fear whatsoever," stated Michael, in fine form at the heart of defence.
"We've just picked up six points against Arsenal and Chelsea, so we go to Old Trafford full of confidence and with nothing to lose.
"It will be another exciting day and hopefully we'll get something out of it."
‘Daws' felt we ‘probably proved a few people wrong' with those back-to-back derby wins just days after Wembley heartbreak in the semi-finals of the FA Cup.
"We've a quality squad here and there is no reason why we can't pick up points against the top teams," he said. "That's what we're striving for and we're working our socks off day in, day out to try and achieve that.
"We want to be where Chelsea, United and Arsenal are now on a regular basis. We're still aiming for that and let's hope it can start this season by finishing fourth.
"It's in our hands now, we've tough matches coming up but let's hope come May 9 it's us."
