The 35-year-old was enjoying his best campaign at the club last term with 15 goals in 33 games before a freak accident in March left him with a full plaster cast on his right arm and out for the season.
But Les was back with the rest of the squad for the recent training camp at La Manga and eager to go again.
Les insisted: "I feel fit and I've had no problems. La Manga was a good experience for me especially after being out for a couple of months at the end of last season.
"I wasn't able to play in a cast because for the first seven weeks I had an over-the-elbow cast on. That ended the season for me.
"La Manga was all about the lads trying to top up their fitness so when we all get back into it we'll all feel the benefit. It was a good exercise for everyone.
"It's the first time I've done something like that in my career and now we're back, it's all in the bank."
Les Ferdinand has recovered from his broken arm and is raring to go again for next season.
