Niko Kranjcar says winning the FA Cup was ‘the greatest day of my football life' - a feat he believes he can repeat at Spurs this season.
The Croatian playmaker lifted the famous trophy with Portsmouth under the management of Harry Redknapp in 2008 when they beat Cardiff City in the final at Wembley.
As we prepare to face Bolton in tonight's (Wednesday, February 24) fifth-round replay at the Lane - TICKETS AVAILABLE - Niko is convinced we can make it to Wembley again after Carling Cup Final appearances in 2008 and 2009.
"To win a major trophy like the FA Cup is a day I'll never forget," reflected Niko. "It was the greatest day of my football life, especially club wise.
"It's why you play football, to get into major finals and win trophies.
"I hope we can achieve the same with Spurs and I really believe we have the squad and the quality to achieve that this season."
Bolton stand in the way of a quarter-final trip to Fulham and Niko was one of the key players to help turn around the initial tie at the Reebok when we trailed 1-0 at half-time on Valentine's Day.
"Throughout the years Bolton has always been a tough place to go and we're delighted we were able to bring the tie home and we believe we have a massive chance to go forward now," he added.
"It's a great opportunity for us. We all know how important the FA Cup is so hopefully we can produce the right result."
