Pat Holland sees Charlie Lee's future in a midfield role.
He switched the 18-year-old from centre-back to central midfield for Saturday's FA Premier Academy League clash against Charlton and Charlie responded with two goals in a 3-0 win.
Charlie has caught the eye in his defensive role throughout our run to the FA Youth Cup semi-finals and he moved back to that position in the reserves' 4-3 win against Arsenal on Monday night.
"Charlie's like Roy of the Rovers," said Pat. "He heads it, he gets his body in and he's got a lot of good qualities.
"I put him in midfield against Charlton and he adapted straight away. It may well be his position the further he goes.
"Where he has suffered is that his mobility and stamina need to improve. We've worked hard on that side and he'll do more in the summer and fingers crossed, we'll improve his mobility because there is a footballer there.
"We've spoken about it and I'm sure he'll come back a fitter lad."
