David, who played 40 times between 1993-95, has been with us part-time for the last two and a half years, working in the community scheme and in our Academy, where he currently coaches our Under-15s.
"A chance has arisen for me to work full-time and I'm delighted to be able to take it," he said. "I'm looking forward to helping expand the scheme to allow even more children in and around the area to benefit from what we have to offer."
Steve Grenfell, Community Officer, said: "It's a great appointment for us and I'm sure David's experience and commitment will help provide support in the development of our community scheme and take it forward to the next level."
The club is delighted to welcome on board former player David Kerslake, who is joining our Football in the Community Scheme as Assistant Community Officer.
