Heurelho Gomes and Michael Dawson reflect on Saturday's Barclays Premier League defeat against Stoke exclusively on Spurs TV Online.
Goalkeeper Gomes points to a fantastic display by his opposite number, Steve Simonsen, as one of the main reasons why we were shut out despite dominating for large periods.
The stopper, fully fit again after a spell on the sidelines, says: "It shows how important goalkeepers can be, but Stoke defended well as a team and made it difficult for us to break them down. But this is no excuse and we must move on."
Defender ‘Daws', meanwhile, started the game on the bench but was introduced 15 minutes in after Jonathan Woodgate sustained a head injury.
And he insists not a lot more could have been done by his team-mates on the day, and admits Glenn Whelan's late winner was hard to take.
‘Daws' says: "We created a number of opportunities but it just wasn't to be and it was just one of those days. We can take positives out of the way we played at times, but we lost the game and went home disappointed."
