Peter Crouch and Jonathan Woodgate give their reactions to our record-breaking 9-1 win over Wigan Athletic on Sunday exclusively to Spurs TV Online.
‘Crouchy' opened the scoring after eight minutes - but he admits that even he could not have predicted what would have happened with just his goal separating the sides at half-time.
He says: "At half-time we just wanted to make sure we killed the game off early because they still had a sniff of getting back into it - to say we killed the fame off in the end is a bit of an understatement!"
‘Woody', meanwhile, skippered the side for the first time this season and insists our scintillating performance came as no shock to him.
He says: "It was a great display throughout the side, especially going forward. You couldn't have asked for any more from us.
"But to be honest, I see this sort of thing every day in training. With the attackers we've got at the club, you're never surprised."
