The Austrian international defender has relished our preparation work ahead of the big kick-off at Manchester United on Saturday.
Kevin played 45 minutes in each of our Audi Cup matches against Real Madrid and AC Milan at Bayern Munich's Allianz Arena this week and will now hope to play his part at Old Trafford.
"Mauricio is a coach who wants to get every player to be better and better and you feel better and better every day," said Kevin, snapped up from FC Cologne in May.
"It’s the hardest pre-season I’ve ever had but I feel good. That’s what pre-season has to be. All of the players will be 100 per cent fit when the seasons starts.
"I’ve had a very warm welcome. From the first day, I’ve had a good feeling. Tottenham for sure are a very big club and I was really looking forward to seeing my new team-mates, to train with them and we’ve done some good work. It’s been hard work, a lot of fun as well and I’m enjoying it. We’re in a good way at the moment."
