We’re back in action at White Hart Lane for the fourth time in nine days for what promises to be a testing encounter with Manuel Pellegrini’s league leaders.
Nacer says our opponents have “bought well” over the summer – with his Belgian international team-mate Kevin De Bruyne one of several high-profile signings made by Pellegrini.
But ahead of our latest outing, the attacking midfielder is confident we can outmuscle City on our own patch and continue our good Premier League form.
“Manchester City are a big team, a strong team, but we know that we are strong at home with the support of our fans,” said the 26-year-old, who played 75 minutes against Arsenal on Wednesday night and also started in last weekend’s 1-0 win over Crystal Palace.
“They always have a big side and of course they’ve bought well with some great players, but we have a strong group too and we know we can play good football so we will do our best.
“This is the kind of game we want to play and of course we want to win.
“We were unlucky on Wednesday night, we deserved more, but we have to recover in our minds so that our bodies can follow.
“I’m very excited for the City game – it’s a good opportunity for us to perform.”
