Midfielder Gylfi Sigurdsson and right-back Kyle Naughton have both swapped White Hart Lane for the Liberty Stadium in the last few months – with Nabil having played alongside both following his elevation into our first team ranks in 2013.
Now, though, the hard-working central midfielder is in opposition to his former colleagues – and he’s targeting a good performance to kick-start what he hopes will be a strong run-in to the end of the season.
“We know Swansea have quality players,” he said. “They have good individuals and they can be very dangerous to any team, but we have to stay focused, remain strong, play our football and hopefully everything will go right for us.
“Of course, we know all about the qualities of Gylfi and Kyle and we’re aware that they can be dangerous, but we have to make sure we play like we’ve played recently at White Hart Lane.
“I feel very confident about the challenges to come. We just have to keep believing and hopefully we’ll be able to get the results we need and want.”
