I started running after him, only just avoiding being hit by several cars, and ran in to the petrol station shop.
I asked him for his autograph, but then I realised that I did not have any paper except for a tissue. He signed the tissue, and I was well pleased.
As I walked back down the high road, I blew my nose on the same tissue, ruining the autograph!
Luckily enough I saw him again outside the training ground a few months later, and this time I made him sign my autograph book!
From Dominic, Bexleyheath: At about Christmas 1999, I saw David Ginola jump out of his car in Buckhurst Hill and run in to a petrol station.
