Glenn Hoddle says we have to move on from our Worthington Cup triumph over Chelsea as we prepare to face the Blues again in the FA Cup on Sunday.
We beat Claudio Ranieri's men 5-1 in the semi-final, second leg in January to reach the Worthington Cup Final.
Asked how much of a psychological boost that result would be come Sunday, Glenn responded: "That performance and result was great but it's history now and we have to move on.
"Unfortunately, football games are never the same. We drawn a line over that and we have to start again.
"We're not just going ot get a similar result and performance. Those things don't just happen. You can't switch a light on and they happen and you repeat them when you want them.
"But we will be positive and we can take a lot of positives from that game.
"It's all about this next game. We have to prove to ourselves that we can perform in a big quarter-final at home and take that home advantage.
"I think it will be a tight cup tie with not much in it. Both sides will realise that. They will have a few more fans in as well and the atmosphere will be charged."
As for his thoughts on Chelsea, Glenn added: "They are an excellent side with players who can turn a game.
"You look right through their squad, they have that type of player, matchwinners.
"They are a side who get themselves up for the big games and this is a big game.
"It will be a very difficult game. We know that, the players know that. Chelsea are an excellent side and we have the utmost respect for them."
