The influential midfielder returned from a brief injury lay-off earlier this month and tipped last weekend’s clash with Sunderland in our favour by firing in our second goal in the eventual 4-1 win.
That match was the third of three home fixtures in quick succession but, as we prepare to return to domestic duties at Selhurst Park following our midweek FA Cup third round replay victory at Leicester City, Mousa says the players are focused on playing their football and winning games – at whichever venue we go to.
“I think overall, away or at home, we play a kind of football that is very attacking,” he said.
“We put a lot of pressure on and we are very fit as a team as well but it doesn’t matter if we’re away or at home – if we want to achieve something we have to do it over a whole season. That’s the aim – to continue this form.
“It’s going to be a difficult game at Crystal Palace, but I think when we play our game we don’t have to be scared of any team.
“Of course, we will respect them – they have a good squad and it’s going to be tough over there with their fans and the way that they play – but we are playing well and I think if we concentrate then we can take the points. If we do everything that we have to do then we can win, but it’s not going to be easy.”
