The Argentina international was one of six players aged 23 or under who started our Premier League games against Arsenal and Liverpool last week.
And while Harry Kane is the name on everybody’s lips, his goals tally currently standing at 23 for the season after his match-winning brace against the Gunners and subsequent strike at Anfield, attacking midfielder Erik believes there’s more to come from all of our young stars.
“I think we are still improving,” said the 22-year-old. “I am happy for Harry because he works a lot in training and he deserves the praise he has got, but he needs to continue.
“He’s a good player, a young player, and he can do more.
“We all need to continue our good performances now. We are a young team and we still have room to get better.”
