Pat Holland admitted it was another frustrating afternoon for our Academy boys as Wolves nicked a point at the weekend.
Our Under-18 side dictated the start and finish of the game but couldn't add to Stuart Lewis' opener in the first half. Wolves levelled within seconds of the start of the second half.
"All in all it was another frustrating day," reflected coach Pat. "We started off brightly and scored after about 10 minutes when Stuart Lewis received the ball on the edge of the box and drove it wide of the keeper.
"But we started to get a little fragmented. For me, Wolves weren't really a threat but then again, we weren't really on our game.
"In the second half we suffered the sucker punch with a ball over the top, we should have done better and they scored after 46 minutes.
"We had to try and get our rhythm back but I never felt we did. I put Jamie O'Hara on with 25 minutes lef because I though he'd give us more influence in midfield and in fairness to him he got hold of it and we had a decent spell in the last 15 minutes where we raised the tempo but couldn't get that elusive goal. All in all, frustrating is the right word."
