Two goals in the space of three minutes in the first half from Kaka and David Villa secured victory for the MLS.
However, it was a game we largely dominated but only had Harry Kane's cracker from 25 yards to show for our efforts.
Harry was denied on three occasions in the first by MLS's Salt Lake City goalkeeper Nick Rimando while Josh Onomah, Nacer Chadli and Shaq Coulthirst all had chances to level in the second half.
