Mixed fortunes for Spurs pair

Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).

It was mixed fortunes for two of our players on international duty on Sunday.

Helder Postiga was an unused substitute for the third time as Portugal won their crunch match against Spain to progress to the knock-out stages of Euro 2004.

The tournament hosts went through with Greece thanks to Nuno Gomes' second half goal. Spain go out.

It wasn't such good news for OJ Mabizela as South Africa suffered a 3-0 loss to Ghaha in World Cup qualifying. All six teams in African Group Two have three points but incredibly South Africa have gone from top to bottom.
