Spurs U19s 1-3 Charlton Athletic

Boss Pat Holland was left to rue a missed opportunity as rivals Arsenal suffered a rare defeat.

He experienced mixed emotions in Saturday's encounter - unhappy with how we played in the first half but more than happy with our performance after the break.

In the end two late goals turned what would have been a much-merited draw into a defeat.

Charlton took the lead after 15 minutes but in-form David Galbraith struck again, this time a drive from the edge of the area, to level it before the break.

We dominated possession in the second half without reward only for the visitors to pop up with goals in the 87th and 89th minutes to grab maximum points.

Pat reflected: "It was an untidy first half and I wasn't particularly pleased with them.

"We changed it from 4-3-3 to 4-4-2 for the second half, pushed Mario Noto up with John Sutton and it made a big difference. We had a lot of possession without getting that second goal.

"It was a shame because Arsenal and a few teams around us in the table also lost. It was a disappointing result in that respect."
