Minute's silence for Remembrance Sunday

Posted on 12 November 2010  - 12:00

As part of the Club's support for Remembrance Sunday and The Royal British Legion, we will be hearing Buglers from 4 Rifles with the Last Post immediately followed by one minute's silence before Saturday's match against Blackburn Rovers.

As part of the Club's support for Remembrance Sunday and The Royal British Legion, we will be hearing Buglers from 4 Rifles with the Last Post immediately followed by one minute's silence before Saturday's match against Blackburn Rovers.

These troops have all returned from deployment in Afghanistan this year and are currently training to return in the next 12 months. Saturday's parade will be taken by WO1 Colin Nufer.

We will also be welcoming onto the pitch members of the 2nd, 4th and 7th Battalions of the Rifles regiment to provide our guard of honour.

Fans are advised to take their seats in time for the one minute's silence.

The Club will also be donating all the proceeds from the Auction of Saturday's special match shirts.

These all feature a poppy and will be signed by the player.

The Auction opens on Monday on tottenhamhotspur.com.

Last year we raised over £32,000 from this Auction for the Royal British Legion - thank you for your generous support.

For those that wish to support with donations directly to the Poppy Appeal, please visit royalbritishlegion.org.uk where you can donate on-line, or see the Poppy sellers around the ground today.
