The Slovenian made an almost instant impression on Sunday - a dazzling feint and turn left his marker in a heap after only a couple of minutes. From that moment on there was a ripple of anticipation whenever he got the ball during his first half stint.
"I enjoyed it as it was my first game for Tottenham and the first game is always something special," reflected Milenko.
"Now it is finished I can look back and I think we played good, everybody played well. I am now looking forward to the second game."
'Milo', as he is now known, says he is 'lucky' to be able to express himself in attacking areas of the pitch because other players cover in case of mishaps.
"I am lucky, I can play like this and the player behind me is always covering and it is a little bit lucky for me.
"It's really easy to play with players like Anderton and Poyet, I played okay because it is no problem to play with players like this."
Milenko Acimovic described his first game for the club as 'something special' and he certainly put on a show for the crowd at Stevenage.
