Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).

New signing Mido is well prepared for the challenge of fitting into our squad - he has already seen the team play five times this season.

Asked how many of our players he was aware of, the 21-year-old effortlessly reeled off a few names before adding that he is pretty familiar with the squad as he is a regular watcher of Premiership football.

"Of course, I know Noureddine Naybet and have played against him many times," reported the loan recruit from Roma. "I know Fredi Kanoute is a very good striker, Robbie Keane and Jermain Defoe as well. Paul Robinson and Ledley King are excellent players and I have seen the team play five times this season.

"I think we have a good team and a team who play to win - I hope I can add something good to the attack.

"Since I was young I have always followed the Premier League. I know it is a different type of game here, it is more open and the rhythm is a little bit faster than in Italy and Spain.

"The stadiums in England are excellent, have a good atmosphere and the supporters love and live for football. That is great, it always helps a player if he feels the people around him love the club and give a lot of support to a player."

Mido acknowledges that, for a young man, he brings much European experience to the table - having already played in Belgium, Holland, Spain, France and Italy. He reflects that he has encountered positives and negatives along the way.

"It's true that, for a guy of my age, to have all this experience of clubs in all these countries is unusual," added the striker. "I think it is good and bad as every time you change clubs you need time to adapt and you need time to know everything about the city, club and system.

"At the same time, it is a good experience. This is my sixth club in Europe but I left each club for a reason. I was at Gent, played good and scored a lot of goals and Ajax took me. I played well and scored goals, but I had a problem with my coach so I went to Celta Vigo and enjoyed it there.

"I got a transfer to Marseille and it was the best thing for my career at that time. After one year there Roma came in for me and it was a dream for me to play there. Unfortunately, things didn't go well for me in Rome because they wanted to always play with Totti, Cassano and Montella.

"It is my opinion that it is best for me to be in a place where I have a chance to play. It is difficult to be in a place where you know you are not going to.

"Now I am trying to fix things by coming here, to work hard and try to get the best out of me."
