Melbourne off-field activity hailed

As we so often say at the Club, our overseas tours are about so much more than playing football matches in front of new audiences.


This was exemplified in Melbourne as our players were seen out and about in the city, engaging with our fan base and supporting a grassroots initiative that saw over 3,000 young players coached during the visit.

Fox Sports Online picked up on this and wrote an article that mentioned "…no activity has been off limits, [with the Club] showing a willingness to sample, and understand, Australian culture, from hospital visits, to coffee shops, to Special Olympic activities to training with indigenous footballers."
