Kenneth McEvoy netted as our Under-18s came from behind to grab a point against Watford in the Premier Academy League on Saturday.

The winger slotted home from Shaq Coulthirst's cross in the 50th minute after the Hornets had grabbed the lead midway through the first half.

Ruben Lameiras struck the post before Watford opened the scoring, Sean Murray finishing well.

Coulthirst went close before half-time and then turned provider for McEvoy to level the scores five minutes into the second half.

Souleymane Coulibaly went close and Coulthirst saw an effort cleared off the line as it ended 1-1 at Spurs Lodge.

"I enjoyed watching that performance," said coach Alex Inglethorpe. "We had a lot of possession and created a lot of chances.

"I thought we were imaginative on the ball, creative and brave in possession."

Spurs U18s: Granger, A McQueen (Ward, 82), Yeboah, Ekong, Stewart; McEvoy, Ball (Smith, 70), Munns, Lameiras; Coulthirst, Coulibaly (Zapata-Caicedo, 70).
