Mauricio on Toby
Mauricio Pochettino will wait for a medical assessment after Toby Alderweireld was stretchered off with a leg injury at The Hawthorns.
The central defender ended up in a heap on the floor after a West Brom attack in the 57th minute of the 1-1 draw and couldn’t continue. He was replaced by Eric Dier, who took over alongside Jan Vertonghen.
Mauricio reported: “It’s difficult to assess now because we need to wait 24-48 hours. He took a big knock to his leg and now we need to wait to assess and to be clear in the diagnosis.”
