Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).

Matthew Etherington is hoping to continue where he left off against Manchester United on Saturday — by taking a chance to show what he can do on the big stage at Leicester City on Thursday night.
The young winger impressed in what was his first Premiership start of a rollercoaster season against the champions.
Now he’s hoping for his England Under-21 debut in tonight’s friendly against Mexico at Filbert Street.
He may have a chance as well, whether it’s starting or off the bench, as Howard Wilkinson’s squad has been badly hit by injuries — including our own Anthony Gardner and Ledley King.
Reflecting on his performance against United and looking ahead, Matty admitted: “I tired towards the end but that was to be expected really because I haven’t had that many first team games.
“I’ve played reserves but that’s a different level and different intensity. I felt I did well. When I got the ball I rarely gave it away and it went okay.
“United had a good side out so it was good to get a win. It bodes well for next season. We had a lot of youngsters out as well and we are all determined to show the manager that we are good enough to play for Tottenham.
“If the injuries hadn’t been around we might not have got a chance so although it’s been unfortunate for the club the injuries it’s been a bonus for us.
“We have to prove to the manager what we can do and the young lads have all done really well. It bodes well for the future and if we can get some new signings in it looks good for the squad.”
The international call for Thursday’s friendly against Mexico, training in La Manga and the Euro qualifier in Greece on June 5 capped a great end to the season for the 19-year-old.
“I got the call for Under-21s last Friday night,” he said. “I haven’t played that many games this season so I must be doing something right. It’s good to be picked with a lot of good, young players and we’ll see how it goes.
“I’ve done all the England age groups and the Under-21s was the next step. I didn’t think I’d get into it until I was playing regular first team football so it’s good to be picked.”
<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
